The Chab side table is one of those furnishings with maximum versatility, much more than a mere pair of designer side tables. In Japanese, the name ‘Chabudai’ refers to a tea table, which is exactly what inspired Nendo’s project, combining minimalist design with elegant execution and evolving its functionality. A lightweight frame that can be adjusted in two different heights for maximum flexibility, acting as a low side table or a comfortable coffee table; the black tabletop with a curved beech rim, is supported by a slender and stable tubular base. The tabletop is a tray that can also exist independently.
